Victrix 28mm Carolingian Franks Unarmoured Infantry
Build a varied force of early medieval warriors with this highly detailed 28mm plastic kit from Victrix. VXDA022 contains 36 unarmoured Carolingian and Frankish infantry representing warriors from the 8th to the 11th centuries, with an extensive selection of weapons, heads, shields and equipment for creating individually equipped figures.
Carolingian infantry formed the backbone of early Frankish armies, fighting around their lords and in close-packed groups and shield walls. The figures reflect the weapons and clothing associated with these warriors, including spears, swords, axes, seaxes, wooden clubs, cloaks and distinctive shield designs.
Extensive Modelling Options
Each sprue contains six unarmoured Carolingian warriors together with a large selection of interchangeable components. The head choices include bare heads, caps and several helmeted options, while horn and standard bearer arms allow command figures to be created. Cloaks are provided in flowing and draped poses, adding further variety to the finished unit.
The figures can also be mixed with Victrix Saxons, Vikings and Normans with a few shield swaps, providing additional possibilities for wargames, Dark Age armies, conversions and fantasy forces.
