Victrix Plastic Miniatures

12mm Pak 40 + Sd.Kfz.11 VG12026

This 12mm (1:144 scale) set from Victrix includes four Sd.Kfz.11 halftracks and four Pak 40 anti-tank guns, complete with gun crews, stowage, and scenic accessories. Designed to represent one of the most effective anti-tank combinations in the German arsenal, this set brings detail, flexibility, and authenticity to your tabletop.

Introduced in 1942, the 7.5cm Pak 40 quickly became the standard German towed anti-tank gun, capable of defeating most Allied and Soviet armour. It remained in widespread use until the end of the war, valued for its balance of power, mobility, and reliability.

The Sd.Kfz.11 was a medium halftrack used extensively from 1939 through to 1945 as a prime mover for artillery and Flak guns. With a capacity for up to eight troops and towing capabilities, it was integral to the mobility of the Wehrmacht’s support weapons. Approximately 9,000 units were produced, serving on all major fronts.

The kit includes gun crews in both standard German uniforms and camouflage smocks, as well as seated crew for the halftracks. Also included are stowage items, ammo boxes, spent shells, and sandbag emplacements for enhancing your battlefield realism.

  • 4 x Pak 40 Anti-Tank Guns (7.5cm L/46)
  • 4 x Sd.Kfz.11 Halftracks
  • Gun crew in standard uniform and smocks
  • Crew for halftrack compartments
  • Stowage, ammo boxes, spent shells, and sandbags

Note: This set requires assembly and painting. Glue, paints and tools are not included and must be purchased separately.

History:

The 7.5cm Pak 40 became Germany’s primary towed anti-tank weapon from 1942 onwards. It was capable of penetrating the armour of almost any Allied tank of the period, including T-34s and Shermans, particularly when fired from concealed positions. The gun was deployed widely on all fronts and adapted into numerous self-propelled variants. The Sd.Kfz.11, with its halftrack mobility and crew capacity, was perfectly suited to tow the Pak 40, giving German anti-tank units both reach and rapid repositioning ability. Whether used defensively or in mobile operations, this combination of gun and vehicle was a cornerstone of German anti-tank strategy until the war’s end.
