Victrix Plastic Miniatures

12mm Soviet T34 76/85 VG12025

This Victrix set includes six superbly detailed 12mm (1:144 scale) T-34 tanks, offering build options for both the 76mm and 85mm gun variants. Included are tank riders, multiple commander poses, and parts for different turret types—including the distinctive chKZ cast turret—along with both spoked and dished road wheel options, giving you the flexibility to model a variety of iconic Soviet tanks.

The T-34 is widely regarded as one of the most revolutionary tank designs of World War II. Its combination of mobility, armour, and firepower set a new standard for armoured warfare. Introduced in 1940 with a 76.2mm gun, the T-34 shocked German commanders during Operation Barbarossa. Its sloped armour increased deflection and survivability, while its diesel engine and wide tracks allowed for excellent mobility across rough terrain.

In 1944, the T-34/85 was introduced, featuring a more powerful 85mm gun and a larger three-man turret, giving Soviet tank crews a significant upgrade in anti-armour performance. These improvements allowed the T-34 to remain highly effective against late-war German tanks such as the Panther and Tiger, and it continued to serve on the front lines until the final days of the conflict.

  • 6 x 12mm T-34 Tanks (build as 76mm or 85mm variants)
  • Options for chKZ cast turret
  • Spoked and dished wheel options
  • Tank riders and multiple commander figures included

Note: This set requires assembly and painting. Glue, paints and tools are not included and must be purchased separately.

History:

The Soviet T-34 was a game-changer in armoured warfare, setting the template for tank design for decades to come. When it entered service, it was unmatched in its combination of firepower, armour, and mobility. It was produced in vast numbers—over 80,000 by war’s end—and served across every major theatre of the Eastern Front. The T-34/76 was instrumental in halting the German advance, while the T-34/85 helped push Soviet forces through Eastern Europe and into Berlin. Its ease of production, battlefield reliability, and tactical flexibility made it the backbone of Soviet armoured forces, and it remains one of the most recognised and respected tanks in military history.
