Build a force of Sepoy Mutineers from the Indian Mutiny of 1857-1858 with this 28mm infantry kit from Wargames Atlantic. WAAIC004 provides enough parts to outfit 24 infantry representing troops typical of the mutinous Bengal Army and other rebel forces that fought across Northern India.

These figures depict highly trained soldiers who turned their weapons and Western-drilled discipline against their British masters during the uprising. With different head and body choices, the miniatures can also represent native infantry, local militias or civilian rebel forces across the Indian subcontinent during the 19th century, giving the set useful flexibility for historical wargames forces.

Assembly and Painting

The models require assembly and painting, providing plenty of scope for individual finishing across the 24 figures. Bases are not included, and product contents may vary from the photographs. The miniatures were sculpted by Thieu Duong, with research by Willie Bogaerts and miniature painting by Chris Hindmarsh.
