Build an armoured infantry force for the battlefields of ancient China with this 28mm hard plastic kit from Wargames Atlantic. WAAFE003 contains the parts to build 24 armoured warriors representing troops from the Warring States period of 475-221 BCE, an era when the seven rival states of Qin, Chu, Qi, Yan, Han, Zhao and Wei fought for control of China.

Designed for wargames armies and miniature collections, the set provides a broad selection of weapon types. The available options give you flexibility when organising your 24 warriors and make the kit useful for creating different infantry formations within a Warring States force.

Multiple Weapon Options

The kit can be configured to build up to six crossbowmen, six spearmen, eight two-handed swordsmen, ten halberd or daggeraxe men, or twelve swordsmen. These options provide plenty of scope for varying the appearance and armament of your infantry while building a cohesive armoured force.

Building Your Warring States Infantry

The Warring States period was characterised by warfare and political fragmentation as Qin, Chu, Qi, Yan, Han, Zhao and Wei competed for supremacy. This set focuses on the armoured infantry of the period, giving you 24 warriors for building units to represent the clashes of ancient China.

The armoured infantry can also be used alongside Wargames Atlantic WAAFE004 Unarmoured Infantry, WAAFE006 Chariot and WAAFE008 Cavalry when building a broader Warring States army.

Assembly and Painting

These are multipart hard plastic models that require assembly and painting, making them suitable for hobbyists who enjoy building and finishing their own model kits and gaming miniatures. Bases are not included, and product contents may vary from the photographs. The miniatures were sculpted by Michael Sng Woei Shyong, with miniature painting by Stephan Huber.
