Compact, agile, and purpose-built, the MH-6J excels where larger helicopters cannot operate.
This kit captures the distinctive Night Stalkers configuration with finely moulded parts and accurate proportions throughout. History
The MH-6 series originated from the Hughes OH-6 Cayuse, a light observation helicopter that proved exceptionally agile during the Vietnam War. Recognising its potential for special operations, the platform was adapted into the Little Bird, tailored specifically for missions requiring speed, precision, and discretion.
The MH-6J became closely associated with US Army special operations aviation, particularly the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. Its ability to insert small teams directly onto rooftops, streets, and confined urban spaces made it invaluable during counter-terrorism and direct action missions. Over time, the Little Bird has earned a reputation as one of the most versatile and iconic rotary-wing aircraft in modern military history.
