The Boeing Company have included the latest state of the art developments into the design and building of its new airliner, the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. Higher fuel efficiency as well as improved inflight comfort have resulted from the use of composite materials in the aircraft’s construction. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner consumes 20% less fuel than airplanes of the same class and is able to transport 210-250 passengers for distances of 14,200 to 15,200 km. The Boeing Company intends to sell 3,500 aircraft of this type during the next 20 years
