Historical Background:

The Morris C9/B was developed during World War II to provide the British Army with a mobile anti-aircraft solution capable of keeping pace with mechanised formations. The truck-mounted 40mm Bofors gun proved effective in defending convoys and forward positions from low-flying aircraft. Its compact size and reliable performance made it particularly useful in North Africa and Northwest Europe. The C9/B configuration saw use with various Commonwealth units, often painted in disruptive camouflage or monotone colours depending on theatre. The 40mm Bofors itself remained one of the most effective and widely used anti-aircraft guns of the war.

Suggested Paint References:

These colours represent typical finishes used by British Army anti-aircraft units during the war. Paint matches are visually aligned and may differ slightly from kit manufacturer recommendations.
