Foglio istruzioni a coloriIl Mercedes Benz L3000 stato largamente usato dalle truppe tedesche durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Assieme allOpel Blitz ha costituito la soluzione primaria per tutte le esigenze logistiche e di trasporto della Wehrmacht. Da un punto di vista tecnico il Mercedes Benz L3000 adott una soluzione con trazione posteriore. Il Motore 4 cilindri diesel da 74 CV era in grado di far raggiungere al Camion tedesco una velocit massima di 70 Km/h. Venne usato su tutti i fronti ed in ogni condizione operativa dimostrando sempre una buona affidabilit ed unottima resistenza. Anche durante limpiego con lAfrika Korps, nelle condizioni estreme del nord Africa, il Mercedes Benz si comport egregiamente. Venne prodotto in 3 versioni e in oltre 27.000 esemplari diventando il camion Mercedes pi prodotto tra la fine degli anni 30 e linizio degli anni 40.
