Foglio istruzioni a coloriIl Mercedes Benz L3000 è stato largamente usato dalle truppe tedesche durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Assieme all’Opel Blitz ha costituito la soluzione primaria per tutte le esigenze logistiche e di trasporto della Wehrmacht. Da un punto di vista tecnico il Mercedes Benz L3000 adottò una soluzione con trazione posteriore. Il Motore 4 cilindri diesel da 74 CV era in grado di far raggiungere al Camion tedesco una velocitàmassima di 70 Km/h. Venne usato su tutti i fronti ed in ogni condizione operativa dimostrando sempre una buona affidabilitàed un’ottima resistenza. Anche durante l’impiego con l’Afrika Korps, nelle condizioni estreme del nord Africa, il Mercedes Benz si comportò egregiamente. Venne prodotto in 3 versioni e in oltre 27.000 esemplari diventando il camion Mercedes più prodotto tra la fine degli anni ’30 e l’inizio degli anni ’40.
