Historical Background:

The Indian 741B was developed by the Indian Motorcycle Company as a military variant of its civilian Scout line. Powered by a 500cc V-twin engine, it was robust, reliable, and capable of operating in rugged conditions. Over 35,000 units were produced for the US Army during World War II, where they served in Europe, North Africa, and the Pacific. Compact and manoeuvrable, the 741B was commonly used by military police, dispatch riders, and reconnaissance teams. Its silhouette became an enduring symbol of US wartime mobility and military ingenuity.
