In the Shannon Class Lifeboat, they have a cutting-edge vessel which is as capable as it is versatile, able to be launched and recovered from a beach using a mobile slipway and powered by waterjets, which provide it with both speed and incredible controllability.
Designed to operate in all weathers, this amazing vessel supports RNLI crews in continuing their proud lifesaving tradition which spans almost 200 years.
