History:
The McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle is a dedicated air superiority fighter that entered service with the United States Air Force in the late 1970s. The MSIP II (Multi-Stage Improvement Program) upgrades introduced advanced avionics, improved radar, and enhanced weapons systems, keeping the Eagle at the forefront of aerial combat capabilities. The 173rd Fighter Wing of the Oregon Air National Guard has been a key operator, training new generations of F-15 pilots while maintaining a combat-ready force.
