History:

The Panzerkampfwagen Tiger Ausf. B, commonly called the King Tiger or Tiger II, was Germany’s heaviest operational tank of World War II. The “Last Production” variant incorporated simplified manufacturing features to speed up output during 1945, including modified exhaust systems and steel road wheels. Despite its heavy armour and powerful 88mm KwK 43 gun, mechanical reliability issues and dwindling resources hampered its effectiveness. King Tigers saw action on both the Eastern and Western Fronts, where they remained a formidable opponent until the war’s end.
