History:
The M35 2.5ton Cargo Truck, developed in the late 1940s and put into service in the 1950s, became one of the most widely used transport vehicles in U.S. military history. Nicknamed the “Deuce and a Half,” it played a crucial logistical role in the Korean War, Vietnam War, and later conflicts. The truck featured a durable chassis, multifuel engine, and a versatile cargo bed that could be adapted for various roles, including troop transport, communications, and medical evacuation. Its long service life and reliability ensured its place as a workhorse of military logistics well into the 21st century.
