History

The Rafale M is a navalised multirole fighter developed by Dassault Aviation for the French Navy. Entering service in the early 2000s, it is designed to carry out a wide spectrum of missions including air superiority, fleet defence, reconnaissance, and precision strike operations. Strengthened landing gear, a reinforced airframe, and a tailhook allow the Rafale M to endure the rigours of carrier operations. Powered by twin Snecma M88 turbofans, the aircraft combines agility and power with advanced avionics, AESA radar, and electronic warfare systems. The Rafale M has seen operational deployment in Afghanistan, Libya, and the Middle East, where it has demonstrated its combat effectiveness and adaptability. Today, it remains the backbone of French naval aviation, symbolising the Marine Nationale’s modern strike capability.

Note: This model kit requires assembly and painting. Glue, paints and tools are not included and must be purchased separately.
