History:
RMS Titanic was launched in 1912 as the most advanced and luxurious ocean liner of its age. Built by Harland and Wolff in Belfast, she was operated by the White Star Line and measured over 880 feet long. Her maiden voyage ended in tragedy after colliding with an iceberg in the North Atlantic, leading to the loss of more than 1,500 lives. The disaster profoundly influenced maritime safety, and Titanic’s legacy continues to fascinate generations worldwide.
