The Boeing AH-64D Apache Block II entered service in the early 2000s, featuring significant avionics, engine, and weapons upgrades over earlier Apache variants. It proved its effectiveness in modern conflicts, offering superior target acquisition and precision strike capabilities. The Block II variant in particular enhanced battlefield survivability and mission effectiveness, making the Apache one of the most feared attack helicopters worldwide.
