HydroCast Mineral Casting Compound Refill (2.2lb)
The HydroCast Refill is ideal for makers who want to keep creating with Alumilite’s sustainable mineral-based casting compound. This eco-friendly refill provides plenty of material for ongoing projects while maintaining the familiar 3:1 mix ratio of casting compound to acrylic hardener. Once mixed, the blend cures into a smooth, stone-like material that captures fine textures and natural details with a clean matte finish.
The mixture can be customised with pigments, terrazzo chips, paint or sealants, making it suitable for personalised home décor pieces and functional creations. HydroCast sets quickly, so working with a steady pace is recommended. If the mixture begins to thicken after sitting for too long, a small amount of catalyst can be added to restore its fluidity before pouring.
