Border Model Dauntless Dynamic Add-On Pack and Pilot Crew
The Border Model Dauntless Dynamic Add-On Pack and Pilot Crew (BG-003E) is an accessory kit designed around the Douglas SBD Dauntless aircraft. Combining a dynamic add-on pack with pilot crew figures, this release offers additional modelling elements for a Dauntless project.
The Douglas SBD Dauntless was an American dive bomber used during the Second World War, particularly in the Pacific theatre. Its association with US Navy carrier operations makes it a familiar subject among modellers interested in WWII naval aviation.
This Border Model accessory release focuses on the aircraft’s crew and additional dynamic elements rather than the main aircraft model itself. It is intended for modellers who want to develop their Dauntless project beyond the basic aircraft subject.
Dynamic Add-On Pack
The dynamic add-on pack forms one part of the BG-003E release. It provides an additional accessory element for a Dauntless modelling project, allowing the aircraft subject to be developed with further detail.
For modellers working on a representation of the Douglas Dauntless, accessories can help create a more involved modelling project, particularly when the aircraft is being presented alongside crew figures.
Dauntless Pilot Crew
Pilot crew figures are another feature of this Border Model set. They introduce the human element associated with operating the Dauntless, an aircraft that served in American naval aviation during WWII.
Crew figures can be used as part of an aircraft modelling display, helping to place the subject within its historical aviation setting. Their inclusion makes this accessory kit particularly relevant to modellers interested in representing the people associated with the aircraft as well as the aircraft itself.
