Game Envy Large Dry Brush Texture Palette
The Game Envy Large Dry Brush Texture Palette is a spacious MDF drybrushing pad designed to help miniature painters prepare and test their brush before applying paint to a model. Measuring 245 x 160mm, it provides a generous textured surface while remaining compact enough for a painting desk.
Instead of relying on paper towel or other materials that can remove too much paint from the brush or leave particles behind, the textured MDF surface allows you to fine-tune your drybrush preparation with greater control. The etched battle scene provides a varied surface that can be used to work paint through the brush and assess the resulting drybrush effect before moving onto the miniature.
Prepare and Test Your Drybrushing
The textured surface gives you a practical place to remove excess paint and test how the brush is performing. This makes it easier to judge the amount of paint remaining on the bristles before applying it to raised details on a model.
The battle scene etched into the palette also adds useful surface variation, helping you practise and refine drybrushing technique. The pad is suitable for both experienced miniature painters and those beginning to develop their drybrushing skills.
For best results, Game Envy recommends priming the surface before use with either a spray primer or a thin brush-on primer. Once prepared, the palette can become a useful part of your regular painting setup alongside other modelling accessories and palettes.
Spacious MDF Painting Surface
This large version measures 245 x 160mm, providing plenty of room for preparing brushes and testing drybrush results without taking up excessive desk space. It is also designed to fit inside the Game Envy Exemplar Wet Palette, making it convenient to store or transport with your painting equipment.
With its durable MDF construction, textured etched surface and practical large format, the Game Envy Dry Brush Texture Palette offers a dedicated surface for controlling paint load and checking drybrush results before committing paint to your miniature.
