Game Envy Small Dry Brush Texture Palette
The Game Envy Small Dry Brush Texture Palette is a compact MDF drybrushing pad designed to help miniature painters prepare and test their brush before applying paint to a model. Measuring 225 x 75mm, it provides a useful textured surface while taking up minimal space on the painting desk.
Unlike paper towel and other materials that can remove too much paint from a brush or leave particles behind, the Drybrush Texture Pad gives you a dedicated surface for fine-tuning your drybrush preparation. The etched battle scene provides varied texture across the pad, helping you work paint through the brush and assess the effect before applying it to your miniature.
Prepare and Test Your Drybrushing
The textured surface allows you to remove excess paint in a controlled way and test the brush before moving on to the model. This helps you judge how much paint remains on the bristles and gives you a practical way to refine your drybrushing technique before working on raised detail.
The etched battle scene also makes the pad useful for practising and improving drybrush control. It suits experienced painters as well as those developing their miniature painting skills.
For best results, Game Envy recommends priming the surface before use with either a spray primer or a thin brush-on primer. Once prepared, the pad can become a practical part of your regular painting setup alongside other modelling accessories and palettes.
Compact MDF Painting Surface
This small version measures 225 x 75mm, providing enough textured surface for preparing and testing a drybrush while remaining easy to accommodate on a busy workbench. It also fits inside the Game Envy Exemplar Wet Palette, making it convenient to store and carry with your painting equipment.
With its compact format, MDF construction and etched textured surface, the Game Envy Dry Brush Texture Palette provides a dedicated area for controlling paint load and checking drybrush results before applying paint to your miniature.
