GreenStuffWorld Masking Tape 50mm x 18m
GreenStuffWorld Masking Tape is a self-adhesive tape designed specifically for model painting. This 50mm-wide version provides broad coverage for protecting larger sections of a model, diorama or other modelling project while nearby areas are painted with a brush, airbrush or spray.
Each roll contains 18 metres of tape. The generous 50mm width means a substantial area can be covered with a single strip, making it particularly useful when the aim is to protect a larger surface rather than create a narrow masked boundary.
Wide coverage for model painting
The tape can be applied to a variety of surfaces and used on painted or unpainted subjects. Once positioned over the area that needs protection, the exposed sections can be painted without accidentally applying colour to the masked surface.
It is designed not to absorb paint colour or leave marks. This makes the tape useful at different stages of a paint job, including protecting previously painted areas while another section is being worked on. Its broad 50mm format can reduce the number of separate strips required when masking larger areas.
For models, dioramas and railway projects
The masking tape is suitable for plastic scale models, dioramas, railway modelling, military modelling, aviation modelling, model kits, model aircraft and radio-controlled subjects. It can be used with brush painting, airbrushing and spray applications, depending on the project and area being protected.
Where a paint job combines large protected sections with finer details, the 50mm tape can be used alongside narrower masking tape and masking products. This allows the wide tape to cover broader surfaces while other masking materials handle smaller areas.
Supplied as one 18m roll, this GreenStuffWorld Masking Tape provides 50mm-wide coverage for protecting larger sections during model painting, while remaining suitable for painted and unpainted surfaces.
