GreenStuffWorld Masking Tape 6mm x 18m

GreenStuffWorld Masking Tape is designed specifically for protecting selected areas during model painting. This 6mm-wide version provides a narrow strip for controlled masking when working with a brush, airbrush or spray, helping prevent paint from reaching areas that need to remain untouched.

Each roll contains 18 metres of self-adhesive tape. The 6mm width makes it particularly useful when masking smaller sections of a model or following paint boundaries where a wider strip would cover more of the surrounding surface than required.

Precise masking for model painting

The tape can be applied to a variety of surfaces and used on painted or unpainted models. It is designed not to absorb paint colour or leave marks, allowing it to protect the covered surface while the exposed area is painted.

Its narrower format gives the modeller useful control when positioning the tape around individual areas and details. Once the required sections are protected, painting can continue with a traditional brush, airbrush or spray without having to work around the masked surface by hand.

For models, dioramas and railway modelling

The 6mm masking tape is suitable for a broad range of modelling projects, including dioramas, plastic scale models, railway modelling, military modelling, aviation modelling, model kits, model aircraft and radio-controlled subjects. It can be used at different stages of a paint job, including protecting previously painted areas while another section is being worked on.

For projects that require several different masking techniques, this tape can be used alongside other masking tape and masking products. The 6mm strip is useful for smaller areas, while different masking materials can be used where the shape or size of the surface requires another approach.

Supplied as one 18m roll, this GreenStuffWorld Masking Tape provides a narrow 6mm format for accurately positioning protection around selected areas of a model before brush, airbrush or spray painting.
