Suitable for resin casting

Compatible with modelling putties

Other materials may also be used, including Milliput, Milliput mixed with Plasteline, Magic Sculpt and similar modelling putties. These thicker materials are harder to use than resin and need to be worked carefully into the carved control-panel details.

The same mould can also be used for surface imprinting, allowing its pattern to be pressed into a compatible modelling material rather than creating a separate dimensional casting.

Removing excess material

A flexible steel scraper is recommended for removing excess putty or clay from the surface. The scraper can clear surplus material without damaging the silicone mould.
