This 1/72 scale B-24J Liberator from Hasegawa recreates one of the most widely produced heavy bombers of the Second World War. Known for its distinctive high-mounted wing and twin tail configuration, the Liberator served across multiple theatres and became a cornerstone of Allied strategic bombing operations.
The B-24J variant featured improved defensive armament and equipment upgrades over earlier versions, making it a common sight in large bomber formations. Its long range and substantial payload made it suitable for everything from strategic bombing to maritime patrol and transport duties.
Hasegawa’s kit captures the aircraft’s characteristic lines with finely engraved surface detail, clear canopy and turret parts, and accurate proportions throughout. Waterslide decals are included, along with straightforward engineering that makes this an enjoyable build while still offering plenty of scope for additional detailing.
