Hasegawa 1/200 Boeing 787-9 Demonstrator

This Hasegawa 1/200 Boeing 787-9 Demonstrator kit recreates the aircraft unveiled in 2013, with markings provided for the first and second aircraft. The finished model measures 314mm long and 301mm wide, and a display stand is included for presenting the completed 787-9.

The fuselage is constructed from left and right halves, while the cockpit and passenger cabin windows are represented using decals. The aircraft parts are moulded in white and RR engine parts are included.

N789EX and N789FT Marking Options

Two demonstrator aircraft are covered by the supplied decals. The first option is aircraft No. 1, “N789EX” (001), which made its first flight on 17 September 2013. The second marking option represents aircraft No. 2, “N789FT” (002).

1/200 Boeing 787-9 Model

At 1/200 scale, the completed aircraft has a length of 314mm and a width of 301mm. The fuselage uses a left and right half construction, with decals providing the cockpit glazing and rows of passenger cabin windows rather than separate window parts.

RR engine parts are supplied for the aircraft, while the included display stand provides a dedicated way to present the finished model. These features make the demonstrator markings and overall form of the 787-9 the main focus of the completed aircraft.
