Hasegawa 1/200 C-130H Hercules J.A.S.D.F. Twin Kit

This Hasegawa 1/200 C-130H Hercules kit contains two aircraft from the Japan Air Self-Defence Force’s 1st Transport Air Wing. The pair represents two different finishes: one aircraft in light blue low-visibility camouflage and the other in the standard camouflage scheme.

The two models are moulded in different colours to reflect these options, with one supplied in light blue and the other in grey. Decals provide a selection of 401st Squadron aircraft based at Komaki Air Base in October 2009, along with markings commemorating the 50th anniversary of the opening of Komaki Air Base.

Two C-130H Hercules Models

Both C-130H aircraft are included in the same set, allowing the light blue low-visibility and standard camouflage versions to be built together. Each model consists of 61 parts and measures 165mm long with a wingspan of 204mm when completed.

401st Squadron Marking Options

The decal sheet covers several C-130H aircraft belonging to the 401st Squadron at Komaki Air Base in October 2009. Aircraft numbers “084”, “071”, “077” and “085” are provided, along with options for aircraft “073”, “074” and “075”.

The decals also reproduce the commemorative marking for the 50th anniversary of the opening of Komaki Air Base, adding another specific feature of the aircraft represented by this Hasegawa release.
