Hasegawa 1/72 F-35A 65th Aggressor Squadron
This Hasegawa 1/72 scale F-35A Lightning II model kit represents an aircraft of the US Air Force 65th Aggressor Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base in 2022. The kit contains 68 parts and includes two decal options for aircraft assigned to the squadron, along with a display stand for the completed model.
The 65th Aggressor Squadron was reorganised at Nellis Air Force Base on 9 June 2022 as an adversary squadron equipped with the F-35A. Hasegawa’s kit focuses specifically on aircraft from this period, with markings for two F-35As belonging to the 65th Aggressor Squadron, 57th Wing.
Two 65th Aggressor Squadron Marking Options
The supplied decals allow the model to be finished as either “WA 65AGRS” or “WA 57OG/CC”. Both aircraft represent the 65th Aggressor Squadron, 57th Wing, US Air Force at Nellis Air Force Base during 2022.
- “WA 65AGRS” – 65th Aggressor Squadron, 57th Wing, US Air Force
- “WA 57OG/CC” – 65th Aggressor Squadron, 57th Wing, US Air Force
- Nellis Air Force Base, 2022
The two decal choices keep the subject firmly centred on the re-established 65th Aggressor Squadron while providing a choice of individual aircraft for the finished model.

US Air Force Aggressor Subject
This Hasegawa release is specifically based on the F-35A-equipped 65th Aggressor Squadron following its 2022 reorganisation at Nellis Air Force Base. The choice between “WA 65AGRS” and “WA 57OG/CC” provides two clearly identified aircraft from the same squadron and period, while the included stand gives the completed 217.5mm-long model a dedicated display option.
