Italeri Plastic Model Kit

Rafale B Two-Seat French Fighter Aircraft (1/72)

The Rafale B is the two-seat variant of France’s highly capable multirole fighter, developed by Dassault Aviation to meet the demanding requirements of modern air combat. Featuring a distinctive delta wing paired with canard foreplanes, the Rafale’s aerodynamic layout delivers excellent performance across a wide range of mission profiles.

Designed from the outset as a true multirole aircraft, the Rafale B is capable of carrying out air-superiority, ground-attack, reconnaissance, and electronic-warfare missions. Powered by a pair of Snecma M88 engines with afterburners, the aircraft achieves a top speed exceeding Mach 1.8 while retaining a strong operational range and impressive manoeuvrability.

  • 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit
  • Finished model length approximately 212mm
  • Accurately represents the Rafale B two-seat configuration
  • Delta wing and canard layout faithfully reproduced
  • New artwork packaging
  • New decal edition with updated markings
  • Box size 29cm x 19cm x 4.5cm

The Rafale B is able to carry a wide range of modern weaponry, including air-to-air and air-to-surface missiles as well as precision-guided bombs. This flexibility allows the aircraft to switch roles rapidly, often within the same sortie, making it a cornerstone of modern French air power.

Entering service with the French Air Force, the Rafale has since proven its value in operational deployments and international service. The two-seat Rafale B plays an important role in training, complex mission coordination, and operational flexibility. Its adoption by other nations, including Croatia and Greece, reflects the aircraft’s reputation as a reliable and highly adaptable modern combat platform.
