History:

The UH-1N Twin Huey, introduced in the early 1970s, was developed as an upgraded version of the original Huey with twin engines for greater power, reliability, and operational range. Widely adopted by the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps, it saw extensive use in a variety of roles including medevac, command and control, troop transport, and special operations support. The UH-1N’s versatility made it a staple of American and allied rotary-wing operations through the latter half of the 20th century and into the 21st, with service continuing in many nations around the world.
