Matho Models 1/35 Clock Faces & Dials Decals

Add finely detailed clock faces and dials to your modelling projects with this Matho Models A6 water-slide decal sheet. Several different clock face styles are included, with diameters ranging from 1 cm to 5.7 cm. Designed primarily for 1/35 scale, the decals can also be used with other scales where their dimensions suit the project.

The selection provides plenty of flexibility for scale model detailing. Some clock faces feature a printed background, while others have a transparent background so you can create a background of your own choice. Some designs include dials, while others leave them separate, allowing you to set the clock to the time you want. Separate dials in different sizes are included for this purpose.

Ultra-Thin, High-Definition Decals

The water-slide decals use separate film, allowing each design to come away individually without needing to cut precisely around its edges. The ultra-thin decal material adapts well to different surfaces, while high-definition printing provides crisp results even on the smallest details.

The decals have accurate, colourfast printing and a semi-matte finish. A semi-transparent protective sheet covers the decal sheet, which can make the designs appear dull before use. Once you remove this cover, the decals look crisp and bright. The actual product does not include copyright markings.

Applying the Clock Faces and Dials

Cut out the required decal with a sharp knife and place it in water for approximately 5-10 seconds to loosen it from the carrier paper. Gently slide the decal into position using tweezers. Decal softener such as Micro Set & Sol can be used to improve adhesion, particularly on non-flat surfaces.

Once positioned, apply light pressure with tissue paper to remove excess water or decal softener and secure the decal. Airbrush varnish over the finished decal for protection. Use a semi-matte or matte varnish to reduce glare if needed, then apply the usual weathering process to blend the clock face or dial into the finished design.
