Miniart RSO/01 with Sd.Anh. Ost 1,5t Trailer – 1/35 Scale

The Miniart RSO/01 with Sd.Anh. Ost 1,5t Trailer (53005) is a highly detailed 1/35 scale plastic model kit representing a German tracked tractor and trailer transport combination. The kit includes both the RSO/01 tractor and its accompanying Sd.Anh. Ost 1,5t trailer, creating a complete transport subject for Second World War military vehicle collections and dioramas.

Rather than depicting a single vehicle, this Miniart release brings together the tracked tractor and trailer as a working transport combination. It is particularly suited to scenes involving military supplies, equipment movement and frontline logistics, where transport vehicles form an important part of the setting.

RSO/01 Tracked Tractor and Trailer

The RSO/01 tracked tractor provides the main vehicle in this kit, accompanied by the Sd.Anh. Ost 1,5t trailer. Together, they represent a transport arrangement suitable for supply and logistics scenes.

The tracked running gear is a prominent feature of the RSO/01, giving the vehicle its characteristic appearance. Miniart has included detailed running gear and cargo areas, providing modelling detail across both the transport vehicle and its associated equipment.

At 1/35 scale, the combination offers a substantial subject for a military vehicle display, with the tractor and trailer providing two connected elements within the finished model.

This release includes photo-etched parts and three decal options alongside the detailed plastic components. These features allow modellers to concentrate on the mechanical details of the tracked tractor and the appearance of the complete transport combination.

Supply and Frontline Diorama Scenes

The RSO/01 and trailer combination is particularly relevant to Second World War supply and logistics dioramas. The tractor can be displayed towing its trailer as part of a transport scene, while the detailed cargo areas provide additional features to work on during assembly and painting.

The model can also serve as the main subject of a standalone military transport display. Its combination of tracked running gear, trailer and cargo detail offers several areas for painting and weathering, particularly when representing vehicles operating in demanding frontline environments.

Part of Miniart’s 1/35 scale military vehicle kits, this release combines the distinctive RSO/01 tractor with the Sd.Anh. Ost 1,5t trailer. The included photo-etched parts, detailed running gear and three decal options provide the principal features for completing this German wartime transport combination.
