This 1/72 scale Gloster Javelin FAW Mk.8 from MisterCraft represents the British all weather fighter developed during the Cold War. The Javelin featured a distinctive delta wing design and twin engine layout, giving it a unique profile among early jet interceptors.
The kit captures the large delta wing, high mounted tailplane, and broad fuselage that defined the Javelin’s appearance. Surface detailing reflects the panel layout and control surfaces typical of the aircraft. A full build guide and colour paint guide are included to support assembly and finishing.

History
The Gloster Javelin entered service with the Royal Air Force in the 1950s as a dedicated all weather interceptor. It was designed to defend British airspace against potential high altitude bomber threats during the Cold War.
The FAW Mk.8 variant incorporated improvements in radar and weapon systems. Although eventually replaced by more advanced supersonic interceptors, the Javelin remains one of the most distinctive British jet fighters of its era.
