M1 IP Abrams MBT (1/35)

This 1/35 scale kit from Panda Model represents the M1 IP Abrams, an early improved production variant of the United States Army’s third-generation main battle tank. Developed during the late Cold War period, the Abrams was designed to dominate modern armoured warfare through a combination of firepower, protection and advanced technology.

The M1 Abrams introduced several key innovations to US armoured forces, including a multifuel gas turbine engine, advanced composite armour, computerised fire control systems and separate ammunition storage with blowout panels for improved crew survivability. Early variants such as the M1 IP were armed with the 105mm M68 gun, prior to the later adoption of the 120mm M256.

Panda Model captures the distinctive shape and surface detail of the early Abrams with sharply moulded plastic parts. The inclusion of photo-etched components and clear parts allows finer details to be represented cleanly, while link-by-link tracks add realism to the running gear.
