Revell BMW 507 70th Anniversary Gift Set – 1/24 Scale

Celebrate 70 years of the BMW 507 with this detailed 1/24 scale plastic model gift set from Revell. Designed by Count Albrecht von Goertz, the BMW 507 remains one of the most recognisable German roadsters of the 1950s, combining elegant proportions with distinctive open-top styling.

Revell’s anniversary edition recreates this classic two-seater through a 148-part model kit measuring 182 mm when completed. Rated Level 4, it offers an involved building project for experienced modellers, with the basic paints, adhesive and brush included in the gift set.

The BMW 507 Roadster

Production of the BMW 507 began in 1956, just one year after the introduction of the BMW Isetta. The two vehicles represented very different approaches to motoring, with the 507 developed as an exclusive sports roadster featuring elegant bodywork designed by Count Goertz.

Its flowing lines and distinctive proportions established a design identity that would later influence the BMW Z8. Today, the original 507 is regarded as a rare and highly desirable classic, making it a particularly interesting subject for automotive scale modelling.

Detailed 148-Part Model Kit

This Revell kit captures the characteristic shape of the BMW 507 in 1/24 scale. The authentic roadster body provides the foundation for a model that reflects the styling of the original 1950s vehicle.

With 148 individual parts, the build requires careful assembly and attention to detail. Its Level 4 difficulty rating makes it suitable for modellers with previous plastic kit experience who enjoy more involved automotive projects.

The completed model measures 182 mm in length, making it a suitable display piece alongside other classic cars in a 1/24 scale model car collection.
