History:

The Eurofighter Typhoon is one of the most advanced multi-role combat aircraft in service today, developed as a joint project between Germany, the UK, Italy, and Spain. In 2020, the Luftwaffe presented a special livery on Eurofighter 31+49 to mark the “Quadriga” programme, which introduced the fourth production tranche of the aircraft. The binary code graphics represented the digitisation of the German Air Force, while the polygonal blue shapes reflected the Bundeswehr’s new corporate identity. Stationed with Tactical Air Force Squadron 31 “Boelcke” at Nörvenich Air Base, this special scheme highlighted both the technological evolution of the Typhoon and its importance in Europe’s future air power.
