History
The North American T-28 Trojan was developed as an advanced trainer aircraft for the United States military during the late 1940s. Designed to replace earlier piston-engined trainers, the aircraft combined reliable handling with significantly improved performance for training future military pilots.
The T-28B variant introduced a more powerful engine and operational improvements for naval training duties. Over time, the aircraft was also adapted for light attack and counter-insurgency roles in several countries.
The Flying Bulls organisation restored a T-28B Trojan as part of its growing collection of historic aircraft. Operated from Austria, the Flying Bulls are known internationally for maintaining and displaying classic aircraft in flying condition at airshows and aviation events.
Today, the Flying Bulls T-28B remains a popular attraction thanks to its polished appearance, powerful radial engine sound, and impressive aerobatic performance during display flights.
