The Revell 1/25 Shelby Series I kit reproduces the only car designed entirely by Carroll Shelby from the ground up. Launched in 1998, this two-seater combined American muscle with modern engineering, powered by a 4.0L V8 DOHC engine producing 320 bhp. This detailed kit captures the sleek styling and high-performance character of the Shelby Series I with finely moulded parts and authentic detailing throughout.

History:

The Shelby Series I debuted in 1998 as a modern expression of Carroll Shelby’s legendary design philosophy. Unlike the Cobra and other Shelby vehicles that were based on existing platforms, the Series I was conceived from scratch, making it the only “pure Shelby.” Built by Shelby American, it featured a lightweight aluminium chassis and a 4.0L V8 engine producing 320 bhp, enabling 0–60 mph in just 4.4 seconds. Despite limited production, the Series I gained a reputation as a rare and distinctive super roadster that blended performance, exclusivity, and Carroll Shelby’s unique design vision. Today, it remains one of the most collectible cars in the Shelby legacy.
