This 1/35 scale Tamiya model kit recreates the rare steel wheel version of the German Panther Type G tank from the latter stages of WWII. Based on the formidable Panzerkampfwagen V, this variant replaced the standard rubber-rimmed wheels with steel-rimmed designs, insulated from the hubs by dual rubber rings. These steel wheels were trialed in limited numbers to conserve raw materials and enhance durability, making this configuration an uncommon sight on the battlefield.
