Victrix Plastic Miniatures

28mm French Napoleonic Infantry 1807–1812 VX0005

This Victrix set provides 60 finely detailed 28mm hard plastic French infantry figures from the Napoleonic era, ideal for representing line infantry during the height of Napoleon’s campaigns from 1807 to 1812. The set includes standard line fusiliers as well as elite grenadier company options, giving you the flexibility to build varied and historically authentic units.

Soldiers are equipped with shakos—the iconic cylindrical headwear of the French army—with additional grenadier head options featuring bearskin caps for added distinction. Porte fanion arms are also included, allowing you to model standard bearers carrying regimental colours. With crisp detail and dynamic poses, this set is perfect for recreating French battalions from battles such as Wagram, Friedland, and the early Russian campaign.

Whether you’re building a force for historical wargaming or collecting miniatures from the Napoleonic period, this set offers excellent value and versatility for any enthusiast of the Grande Armée.

History:

From 1807 to 1812, Napoleon’s armies were engaged in some of the most critical and expansive campaigns of the Napoleonic Wars. The French infantry—the backbone of the Grande Armée—wore shakos and blue coats with white facings, distinguishing them on battlefields across Europe. The period includes major engagements like the battles of Friedland and Wagram, where disciplined French infantry manoeuvres helped secure sweeping victories. Elite grenadier companies, identifiable by their bearskin headgear, often led assaults and formed the core of the Emperor’s most trusted units. This set captures the spirit and precision of French Napoleonic infantry at their peak, ready to march across the continent once more.
