Pz.Kpfw. VI Ausf. E Sd.Kfz.181 Tiger “131” Early Production (1/35) 6820

The Dragon Tiger 131 Early Production kit captures the legendary German heavy tank as it appeared during the North African campaign in 1943. This model replicates the only operational Tiger still in existence, meticulously preserved at The Tank Museum, Bovington. The kit includes Dragon’s upgraded Magic Track system, offering precision link-by-link tracks that deliver authentic sag and detail. Enhanced moulding quality ensures crisp weld seams, bolt heads, and armour plate textures throughout.

  • Highly detailed 1/35 scale model of Tiger 131
  • Includes Magic Track upgrade for advanced realism
  • Photo-etched parts and clear periscopes included
  • Accurate early-production features with optional open hatches
  • Detailed interior gun breech and turret components
  • Decals for authentic North African campaign markings

History: Tiger 131 was the first Tiger I captured intact by Allied forces during WWII, seized by the British 48th Royal Tank Regiment near Medjez-el-Bab, Tunisia, in April 1943. The tank’s robust design and powerful 88 mm KwK 36 gun made it one of the most formidable armoured vehicles of the war. Restored to full running condition, it remains an icon of German engineering and is displayed at The Tank Museum in Bovington, UK.
