GreenStuffWorld Flexible Masking Tape 5mm

GreenStuffWorld Flexible Masking Tape is a flexible PVC tape designed for precise and intricate masking on models and miniatures. The 5mm width can follow defined curves and contoured surfaces, allowing selected areas to be protected while surrounding sections are painted.

It can be applied to a variety of surfaces and used on painted or unpainted subjects. The flexible construction is particularly useful when the required masking line follows the shape of a model rather than running in a simple straight line.

Follow curves and contoured surfaces

The 5mm-wide PVC tape can be positioned around curves and shaped areas to create controlled masking boundaries. Its relatively narrow format makes it useful for detailed work while still providing enough width to protect the area immediately alongside the paint boundary.

The tape provides very good adhesion to model surfaces and is designed to remove without leaving traces of glue behind. It will not absorb paint colour or leave marks, helping to protect the covered surface while paint is applied to adjacent areas.

For airbrush, spray and brush painting

GreenStuffWorld Flexible Masking Tape is intended primarily for airbrush and spray painting, although it can also be used with a brush with certain techniques. Suitable modelling applications include dioramas, plastic scale models, railway modelling, military modelling, aviation modelling, model kits, model aircraft and radio-controlled subjects.

For projects involving a mixture of straight, curved and larger masked sections, the 5mm tape can be used alongside other masking tape and masking products. Its flexible PVC construction is specifically suited to areas where the masking needs to conform to curves and contours.

This GreenStuffWorld flexible tape provides a 5mm-wide masking strip for detailed curved and contoured paint boundaries, with good surface adhesion and removal without traces of glue.
