GreenStuffWorld Pipe Circuits Silicone Mould
The GreenStuffWorld Pipe Circuits Silicone Mould is intricately cut for creating highly detailed pipe-circuit designs. Its carefully carved pattern supports dimensional casting and surface imprinting, making it a versatile accessory for resin crafts and modelling projects.
The mould has a large working area measuring 6 x 12cm. Made from high-quality food-grade silicone, it combines flexibility with durable, heat-resistant performance and can withstand temperatures up to 240 degrees C.
Detailed pipe-circuit impressions
The carved silicone surface is designed to produce clear, thorough impressions. It can be used to form dimensional pipe-circuit pieces or to imprint the pattern directly into a suitable modelling material.
- Pipe-circuit design
- Large 6 x 12cm working area
- Intricately cut pattern
- Suitable for dimensional designs
- Suitable for surface imprinting
- Durable food-grade silicone
- Heat-resistant up to 240 degrees C
The detailed pattern allows repeated pipe-circuit elements to be created for craft and modelling projects. Its large surface area provides room for a substantial arrangement of moulded detail.
Suitable for resin casting
The silicone mould works with different types of resin, with acrylic resin highly recommended. Fill the required areas and allow the resin to dry completely before removing the finished pieces.
Waiting until the resin has fully dried helps the cast details retain their intended shape during removal. The flexible silicone then supports the release of the completed pipe-circuit pieces.
Compatible with modelling putties
Other materials may also be used, including Milliput, Milliput mixed with Plasteline, Magic Sculpt and similar modelling putties. These thicker materials are harder to use than resin and need to be worked carefully into the carved pipe-circuit details.
The same mould can also be used for surface imprinting, allowing its pattern to be pressed into compatible modelling material rather than creating a separate dimensional casting.
Removing excess material
A flexible steel scraper is recommended for removing excess putty or clay from the surface. The scraper can clear surplus material without damaging the silicone mould.
