Hasegawa 1/72 Tornado GR.4/IDS TTTE 35th Anniversary
This Hasegawa 1/72 scale model kit contains the Tornado aircraft and recreates the special markings produced for the 35th anniversary of the TTTE, the Tri-National Tornado Training Establishment. Founded in 1980, the organisation brought together the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy, and the anniversary scheme commemorates all three participating countries.
The aircraft wear a distinctive blue base colour, with the vertical stabiliser carrying the flags of the three nations. Three decal options are included, allowing the two models in the kit to be completed using your choice of British Royal Air Force, German Air Force and Italian Air Force markings.
Three TTTE 35th Anniversary Marking Options
The supplied decals represent the commemorative markings used for the 35th anniversary in 2015. The British option is Royal Air Force Tornado GR.4 “B-35: ZA612”. For Germany, the kit provides Tornado IDS “G-35: 45+71”, while the Italian option represents a Tornado IDS of the 6th Wing, “I-35: 6-16”.

As two aircraft are included, you can select two of the three national schemes for the finished models. The shared anniversary markings give the pair a clear visual connection while the individual national aircraft provide a choice of subjects.
