Hasegawa 1/24 Volkswagen Beetle Type 1 MOONEYES

This Hasegawa 1/24 Volkswagen Beetle Type 1 MOONEYES kit combines the familiar shape of the Beetle with distinctive MOONEYES details. The eye logo is prominently displayed, while metal Moon Disc wheel caps give the finished car one of the defining features of this version.

The kit can be assembled in either right-hand drive or left-hand drive configuration, providing a useful choice when building the interior. The body, interior and chassis parts are all moulded in black, with the metal Moon Disc parts supplied separately.

MOONEYES Details

The MOONEYES theme is centred on the prominent eye logo and Moon Disc wheel caps. Metal parts are supplied for the Moon Discs, giving the wheels the characteristic covered appearance featured on this Beetle.

These details distinguish the model from a standard Volkswagen Beetle Type 1 and provide the main visual features of the completed car. The black body, interior and chassis parts provide a consistent base for the MOONEYES version represented by the kit.

Right or Left-Hand Drive

Hasegawa provides parts to build the Beetle in either right-hand drive or left-hand drive form. This choice allows the steering position to be selected during assembly rather than limiting the model to a single configuration.

The kit contains 82 parts and builds into a model measuring 171mm long and 64mm wide. At 1/24 scale, it sits naturally alongside other 1/24 plastic kits.
