Russian KV-1B (1/35) 35142
This 1/35 scale assembly kit recreates the Russian KV-1B heavy tank, developed in 1940 to withstand increasingly effective German anti-tank weaponry. It was an upgraded version of the KV-1, fitted with additional armour plates bolted onto the turret and hull, boosting protection to 120mm at the turret front and 110mm on the turret sides and hull front.

While the reinforcement greatly improved protection, it also increased the tank’s weight and reduced mobility. Later production switched to welded armour for enhanced strength. This Tamiya kit offers a faithful reproduction of this formidable Soviet vehicle from the Eastern Front.
