The Tamiya Renault 5 Turbo (1/24) recreates the iconic rally-bred hatchback that debuted in 1980. Developed from the Renault 5 for global rally competition, this performance machine moved its 1.4 litre turbocharged inline-four engine to the rear in place of the back seats, delivering 160hp and a distinctive mid-engine layout. Lightweight aluminium and FRP panels, along with bulging overfenders and a purposeful stance, made it instantly recognisable both on and off the rally stage.

This limited re-issue includes updated decals and instructions, offering a choice of black or red bodywork with dedicated markings for each. The model captures every detail from the sumptuous interior to the complex suspension and chassis components.
