M10 GMC, M36 GMC and Achilles 1/72 Model Kit

Three Tank Destroyer Options

The M10 Motor Gun Carriage was a US Army tank destroyer based on the M4 Sherman chassis. It mounted a 3-inch gun in an open-topped turret. The improved M36 GMC replaced the M10’s weapon with a more powerful 90 mm gun developed to counter German tanks.

British forces also adapted the M10 by installing the proven high-velocity 17-pounder gun, creating the Achilles. The M10, M36 and Achilles all played important roles in Allied armoured warfare in Europe after D-Day, giving each available version a clear historical setting.

Assembly and Finishing
