This 1/350 scale kit recreates the Imperial Japanese Navy’s I-400, the largest submarine of WWII and the world’s first submersible aircraft carrier. Designed to carry three Aichi M6A1 Seiran floatplanes within its forward hangar, the I-400 was capable of long-range missions and unprecedented global reach for its time. Its ambitious design made it a formidable threat, though it never saw combat before the war’s end.
