Revell Plastic Model Kit
Messerschmitt Bf109G-10 Erla
This 1/32 scale kit from Revell represents the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 Erla, one of the final and most refined wartime variants of the famous German fighter aircraft. The large scale allows the model to showcase extensive structural and cockpit detail.
Part of the 1/32 aircraft model kits range, the set includes paints, glue, and a brush, making it suitable for builders wanting a complete package straight from the box.
- 1/32 scale plastic model kit
- Includes 147 parts
- Detailed cockpit and landing gear
- Movable control surfaces
- Optional extended or retracted undercarriage

The kit captures the distinctive lines of the Erla-produced Bf 109G-10, including the streamlined engine cowling associated with this late-war production version. The larger scale allows finer surface details and cockpit features to stand out clearly.
Optional positioning of control surfaces and undercarriage adds flexibility for display, while the included markings allow builders to recreate historically significant aircraft.
History
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was one of the most important fighter aircraft of the Second World War and served throughout the conflict in a wide range of variants. The G-10 was developed late in the war to improve performance against increasingly capable Allied fighters.
The aircraft combined existing Bf 109G airframes with the more powerful Daimler-Benz DB 605D engine, improving speed and high-altitude capability. The Erla Maschinenwerke production line introduced distinctive streamlined engine cowlings to accommodate the revised engine installation.
One of the best-known pilots to fly the Bf 109G-10 was Major Erich Hartmann of Jagdgeschwader 52. Hartmann became the highest-scoring fighter ace in aviation history, credited with 352 aerial victories during the war.
The Bf 109G-10 represented one of the final operational developments of the long-serving Bf 109 family and remains one of the most recognisable German fighter aircraft of the era.
